To ensure a high quality finish our mobile units have fully enclosed spray booths and paint baking facilities and are equipped with the exclusive patented Wheel Doctor machinery and carry a range of abrasives and propriety fillers to ensure a top quality repair. Our qualified technicians (minimum 7 years experience) use a variety of techniques, depending on the type of damage and the style and finish of the wheel. They only use a top quality 2 pot paint system.

Most
alloy wheels have a paint finish and are straightforward
and economical to repair. They nearly always look brand
new after repair.

Some
alloy wheels are polished metal covered with clear lacquer.
To make proper repairs to these wheels, they might need
to be completely stripped back to bare metal. This often
means taking them offsite.
Machined wheels can be difficult to repair if deep damage has occurred to the face of the spokes. They will need to be taken offsite to our CNC lathe and possibly for welding. However, if light damage is to the lip or bead area of the wheel, a satisfactory repair can be made on site.

Any wheels with safety issues are taken offsite and
inspected by a specialist engineer. If a wheel is too
damaged for repair, we’ll recommend replacement.
